The Saint Louis Chess Club, a 501(c)(3) educational organization, is widely recognized as the premier chess facility in the country and one of the best in the world.

This 6,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art chess center features a world-class tournament playing hall, classroom, library and casual play area. The St. Louis Chess Club promotes the game of chess at the top levels by hosting all of the major U.S. Championship events and matches between the world’s top players.

Live Spectator Accommodations

The Saint Louis Chess Club will comply with local and regional COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions for all spectators.

Spectators are welcome to watch the rounds live at the Saint Louis Chess Club with a $10/round ticket. All access 5-day pass available for $40. Tickets will include the following:

  • Access to theater style seating in the main lobby to view commentary of the event with light snacks and beverages
  • Access to watch the players live on the second floor (no cell phones permitted)
  • Live commentary and group discussion with Grandmasters next door at Kingside Diner with beverage station
  • 50% discount on food at Kingside Diner located next door
  • Valet parking available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
